Reporting to the Practice Manager, my Client based in the BT12 area of Belfast requires a part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.
Duties:
- Meet & greet all patients at the front desk
- Answer all telephone calls
- Answer repeat prescription line
- Passing on results to patients
- General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients, other duties may be added as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face-to-face contact)
- 4 GCSEs @ grade A – C including English & Maths or equivalent
- Fully computer literate
- Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Flexibility to cover sickness & holiday at another site in the BT15 area of Belfast
- Available ASAP
- Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given
28.5 hours pw – Mon 9am - 5.30pm, Tues 9am - 4pm, Wed & Fri 9.30 – 5.30pm
Salary: £13.31 per hour
