Reporting to the Practice Manager, my Client based in East Belfast requires a part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.
Duties:
- Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
- Answer all telephone calls
- Answer repeat prescription line
- Passing on results to patients
- General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients, and other duties may be added as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact)
- 4 GCSE’s @ grade A – C including English & Maths or equivalent
- Fully computer literate
- Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Flexibility to cover sickness & holiday
- Available asap
- Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given
17.5 hours pw – Mon 8.30am - 1pm, Thurs & Fri 10am – 5pm (some flexibility in start & finish times on Thurs & Fri if required).
Salary £13.31 per hour.
