Reporting to the Practice Manager, my Client based in Bangor, Co Down require a part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.
Duties:
- Meet & greet all patients to the front desk
- Answer all telephone calls
- Answer repeat prescription line
- Passing on results to patients
- General Administration (filing; post; scanning etc.)
- Although during the working day any of these areas may interchange according to the needs of the practice and patients and other duties may be added as required
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role (to include telephone & face to face contact)
- 4 GCSE's @ grade A – C inc English & Maths or equivalent
- Fully computer literate
- Evidence of working in a team & on own initiative
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Flexibility to cover sickness & holiday
- Available asap
- Experience in a medical environment (GP surgery) advantageous although training will be given
Hours of work: 16.5 per week as follows Mon 8.30am - 12.30pm, Wed 8.30am - 6pm (1 hour lunch) & Thurs 8.30am - 12.30pm.
Salary depending on experience.
