Are you looking for a new design role to work with a growing company working on a diverse range of hygienic projects from sheet metal to fluid and powder process systems which you are able to grow with future development opportunities? We are a subcontract manufacturing business serving the process engineering and food industries, and we are looking for a new member to join our design team.
What you will be doing:
- Producing detailed manufacturing drawings of systems, products and layouts from 3D models (fabrication and assembly drawings including BOM's)
- Align P&ID’s with 2D and 3D drawings
- Ensuring all drawing quality and continuity are up to company, customer and industry standards
- Making sure all drawing libraries and parts databases are up to date
- Working closely with the manufacturing department to ensure parts are manufactured to spec, and overcoming manufacturing problems
- Issue all drawings and BOM's for manufacture through ERP system
Qualifications:
- Degree level education (expected)
- Experience as a CAD Draughtsperson / Design Engineer within a fabrication industry
- Knowledge of food & beverage, pharma, industrial design
- Excellent user of Solidworks / AutoCAD / Inventor
- Excellent understanding of design for Manufacture (DFM)
- Ability to produce under pressure
