About the

Role: Due to increased growth and exciting expansion plans in our New Bothwell Site we are looking for full-time HGV Delivery Driver’s to join our team in Uddingston.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering frozen, chilled, and ambient goods to a wide range of customers, including businesses, schools, and hospitals.

This is a hands-on, multi-drop role that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer service.

  • Valid HGV Cat C/C+E licence (must be carried at all times).
  • Valid Digi Card
  • Valid CPC Card.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of driver’s hours and tachograph legislation.
  • Confidence in using handheld technology for deliveries.
  • Comfortable with manual handling.
  • A strong work ethic.

* A good standard in written and spoken English. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a rigid HGV on assigned delivery routes.
  • Follow planned schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Carry out vehicle checks and operate fridge units and tail lifts.
  • Handle delivery dockets, process cash payments, and complete paperwork.
  • Use a handheld device to manage deliveries, capture signatures, and enhance delivery accuracy.
  • Make collections from suppliers when required.
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with our customers.
  • Liaise with the Transport Office, Telesales, and Sales Representatives.
