Job Summary: Lynas General Assistants will assist with the day-to-day running of the Food Outlet to ensure that sales and profit targets are met through effective stock control, sales promotion and cost control. They will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of all actions in the store
- Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
- Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Maintaining store merchandising standards
- Taking part in all stock takes
- Goods intake, putting away orders
- Till duties and cash handling
- Stock replenishment and inventory taking
- Carry out and record date and temperature checks on stock
- Ensuring all waste is managed
- General housekeeping and maintaining excellent store presentation
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a food retail role
- Full clean driving licence essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative
- To have a good work ethic
- To be a good timekeeper
- To be professional
- Willingness to operate in various temperature zones
- Must be fully flexible to work shifts including Saturdays
- Must be able to adhere to Health & Safety procedures and promote the Health & Safety culture at the Food Outlet
