Location - Ballymena Outlet

Hours of work - Between Monday - Saturday

Job Summary: Lynas General Assistants will assist with the day-to-day running of the Food Outlet to ensure that sales and profit targets are met through effective stock control, sales promotion and cost control. They will work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service and operational standards.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction is at the heart of all actions in the store
  • Interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Maintaining store merchandising standards
  • Taking part in all stock takes
  • Goods intake, putting away orders
  • Till duties and cash handling
  • Stock replenishment and inventory taking
  • Carry out and record date and temperature checks on stock
  • Ensuring all waste is managed
  • General housekeeping and maintaining excellent store presentation

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a food retail role
  • Full clean driving licence essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative
  • To have a good work ethic
  • To be a good timekeeper
  • To be professional
  • Willingness to operate in various temperature zones
  • Must be fully flexible to work shifts including Saturdays
  • Must be able to adhere to Health & Safety procedures and promote the Health & Safety culture at the Food Outlet
