Role Overview
Are you a tech prodigy who can build full-scale software from scratch and think like a hacker to break into systems and secure them? We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer & Ethical Hacking Intern for a fast-paced, 3-month hands-on journey. This is not a traditional internship where you get coffee; you will be the architectural force behind our software. You will have full ownership of building features, optimizing our platform, and stress-testing our systems to ensure they are completely ironclad against security threats.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Design, build, and deploy new features and infrastructure for the Lyna Cycle application (web/mobile).
- Penetration Testing & Security auditing: Conduct continuous vulnerability assessments, ethical hacking simulations, and stress-testing on our app to identify and patch security flaws.
- Code Optimization: Write clean, scalable, and secure code, ensuring seamless backend integration and responsive UI/UX.
- Data Privacy: Establish robust encryption and security protocols to safeguard user data and transactional integrity.
What We’re Looking For
- The "Build Anything" Mindset: Proficient in full-stack development (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, Flutter, AWS, or similar modern tech stacks). You can look at a problem and figure out how to engineer a software solution for it.
- The Ethical Hacker Mindset: Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, OWASP Top 10, penetration testing, and secure coding practices. Certifications (like CEH, OSCP, CompTIA Security+) are a huge plus but hands-on skill is what matters most.
- Autonomy & Hustle: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and can execute without constant hand-holding.
- Availability: Ready to commit to a 3-month sprint.
- Unpaid with High Commission/Incentives: While this role does not offer a base salary, we offer a generous commission-based structures / performance bonuses tied directly to milestones, revenue generation, or user acquisition goals achieved through your technical deployments.
- Equity/Full-Time Potential: Exceptional performers who show dedication and deliver results during these 3 months will be prioritized for early-stage equity options and conversion to a paid full-time executive role.
