Salary & Hours

£40,000 plus approximately £8,000 per year in tronc. Full time.

Relationships

Food & Beverage teams, Front of House team, Sales & Events team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations ensuring the highest standards of service and outstanding product knowledge.
• Contribute to the profitable operation of the hotel by maintaining and adhering to allocated budgets, controlling stock, consumables and labour through staff rota and holiday planning.
• Build rapport with guests to maximise sales opportunities and generate future business.
• Perform occasional duty management shifts as required.
• Act as a pivotal and charismatic figurehead in the lounges, carrying out the role of “host” alongside the senior management team.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of quality food and wine.
• Michelin star or 5 AA Rosette experience essential.
• Attention to detail and presented to a high standard.
• Well-developed organisational and communication skills.
• A strong motivator and team leader.
