The Nici is an expanding luxury lifestyle hotel brand known for exceptional guest experiences, contemporary design and outstanding hospitality. We are excited to be opening The Nici Lymington in June, bringing a fresh and stylish hospitality experience to the heart of the New Forest and South Coast. This exciting new hotel will combine luxury accommodation, destination dining and premium guest experiences, creating a vibrant environment for both guests and team members.

As part of the opening team, you will have the opportunity to play an important role in shaping the guest journey and culture of the hotel from day one. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and professional Duty Manager to join the opening team at The Nici Lymington.

The Role

As Duty Manager, you will support the daily operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered across all departments. You will work closely with the management team to drive operational excellence, support team performance and create memorable guest experiences. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading from the front.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of the hotel during shifts
  • Support all departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Handle guest queries, requests and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure brand standards, presentation and service levels are maintained throughout the property
  • Conduct regular operational walk rounds across the hotel
  • Support with team supervision, shift management and staff motivation
  • Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
