We are looking for an in‑house Management Accountant to play a key role within our Finance Team. This position is responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and business partnering with the wider business. If you are a highly motivated, detail‑oriented, curious and adaptable individual who thrives from working in a fast‑paced environment, this could be the right opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
- Compliance with statutory requirements, adhering to deadlines as appropriate
- Managing and training the wider business through strong business partnering
- Monitoring financial performance against agreed budgets and forecasts
- Regularly informing the Head of Finance of business‑critical issues and opportunities; proposing solutions to problems
Qualifications / Experience:
- Qualified or part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferably wholesale/retail)
- Strong IT literacy – Advanced Excel, accounting software
- Motivated individual with good attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Challenging and ‘can‑do’ attitude
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Self‑disciplined and proactive team player
