We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Head of Art to join our thriving, supportive and successful Creative Arts Faculty. The successful candidate will be committed to raising learner aspirations and attainment and to helping learners develop their enjoyment of the Art alongside their subject specific and wider skills with a student focused approach.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom teacher who values positive relationships with learners and who seeks to inspire and motivate them to make progress in learning. We are seeking a candidate who is an inclusive practitioner, committed to planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of all learners, by using effective differentiation, assessment for learning strategies and providing regular feedback for learners to progress to the best of their ability.
Salary range: Main Pay Scale/ Upper Scale (depending on experience) with TLR 2.1 for Head of Art
Hours: Full time
Job Type: Permanent
Start date: 1st June 2026/ depending on availability for start dates
