About The Role
Lycetts Insurance Brokers, part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Trainee Account Handler to join our Yorkshire office. Join our team as a Trainee Account Handler and play a key role in supporting client relationships while helping the business grow. You’ll receive full training and hands-on experience to build the skills needed for a successful career in insurance. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start out or take the next step in the industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support clients by helping prepare renewal paperwork ahead of renewal dates.
- Assist with incoming new business enquiries, helping to put together submissions and quotations with guidance from the team.
- Help obtain and compare alternative quotes where appropriate, learning how to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Support the team with policy documentation, invoices, credit notes, and general administration to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Follow file management and compliance procedures, including FCA requirements, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Build positive working relationships with insurance companies as you develop your industry knowledge.
What You'll Need to Have
- Good organisational ability.
- Experience in obtaining information from clients via telephone & email.
- Confident communications skills – both written & oral.
- Good negotiating skills and the ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Hybrid working available upon successful completion of probation.
