We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to join our Student Wellbeing team. As a Student Supervisor, you will contribute to delivering an exceptional provision that supports student wellbeing, learning and safeguarding outside the classroom. The role requires you to demonstrate good organisational and strong communication skills to effectively engage with children.
This is a part-time fixed-term contract which entails between 10.25 hours and 36.75 hours per week during term time. The hourly rate is £13.85 gross (i.e £15.66 including holiday pay), which derives from a full-time equivalent salary of £28,808 gross per annum.
Key responsibilities- Actively supervise Primary students of all ages during non-classroom hours: e.g. recess, toilet breaks, lunchtime, etc.
- Manage student behaviour and conflicts by applying the school's code of conduct
- Report incidents or concerns in a prompt and accurate manner
- Monitor students' emotional well-being and developmental progress
- Provide first aid care when required
- Undertake occasional administrative duties
- Fulfill any additional duties as requested
- Previous experience in education or child care sectors desirable
- Speaking French is a plus
- Strong commitment to safeguard children
- Good listening and communication skills
