Overview
This is a part-time fixed-term contract which entails:
- 37.5 hours of work per week during Term Time
- Two additional weeks of 7 hours of work per day during Student Breaks
The term dates are published on our website.
The rate is £14.18 gross per hour (i.e £16.03 including holiday pay), which derives from a full-time equivalent salary of £29,490 gross per annum.
The After-school Care and Holiday Club Coordinator will:
- help develop, plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate our year-round ASP and Holiday Club programmes
- supervise the students when necessary
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can:
- work independently and collaboratively within a team and with external ASP leaders
- communicate effectively with the team, the children, parents and ASP leaders
- organise and prioritise workload
Key responsibilities
- Organise and adjust the team schedule depending on the needs of the school
- Co-coordinate team members and ASP providers with the team manager
- Plan weekly themes & activities and report on the outcomes
- Ensure the daily programme runs smoothly
- Set up of the activities, various resources & equipment, and prepare snacks
- Manage resources and school equipment
- Supervise children outside the classroom (recess, lunch time, library and during activities such as Arts and Craft, sport, games, etc.)
- Ensure the emergency procedure is in place
- Build positive & professional relationships with the children, parents and school teams
- Keep records of the team members and the children's attendance and address any issues, concerns or complaints effectively
- Ensure the working environment is kept clean, tidy, hygienic and safe
- Participate in weekly team meetings
- Ensure the team members and the ASP leaders apply the school's key policies and procedures

Right to work in the UK

The position advertised does not qualify for a Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. The successful candidates must already have the right to work in UK.
