Are you a Radiographer who works to a high degree of precision? Would you like a good work life balance? We have an exciting opportunity for a strong and empathetic Radiographer to join our Imaging team as a part time employee.
This role is ideal for someone who has excellent listening skills in order to build an affinity with patients in a short space of time and the knowledge of the service to be able to give advice when necessary. This is a part time role and is 20 hours working flexibly. The department working hours are Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 8.00pm with occasional weekend working.
Role Responsibilities- Provide a fully comprehensive service supporting our Radiology department, consultants and partners.
- Obtain and maintain a high level of competency to meet National Standards.
- Actively encourage collaborative working relationships with the administration teams to ensure radiology reports are processed quickly and efficiently.
- Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, IRMER (2017) & IRR17, MHRA and all other such relevant regulations and guidelines as appropriate to the delivery of independent sector imaging services.
- Act as an operator under the IRMER Radiation Regulations and assess the clinical justifications of referrals to ensure that the benefit to the patient outweighs the radiation risk.
- Have a Diploma from the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography with a valid HCPC registration.
- Have excellent knowledge and experience working within a Radiology role along with evidence of CPD.
- Be absolutely patient focused with a drive to offering the highest standard of patient care at all times.
- Have experience in working in radiography in both the public and private sectors.
