Process Operative / Warehouse Operative – £14.00 Per Hour – Ilkeston Must Be over 21 (insurance purposes)

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary, with potential for longer-term opportunities

About the Role L Y Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Process Operative to join a busy and well-established business in the Ilkeston area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, has a positive attitude and is willing to learn new skills.
The position involves working within a busy industrial laundry and workwear processing environment, ensuring customers continue to receive a high-quality and reliable service.
There is also the opportunity to support the delivery team when required, so a full, clean driving licence is essential .
Key Responsibilities Sorting and processing workwear and laundry.
Booking in items and maintaining accurate records.
Operating industrial laundry equipment.
Preparing and organising customer orders.
Supporting the day-to-day running of the processing department.
Providing occasional van driving and delivery cover during busy periods and staff holidays.
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
What We're Looking For Full, clean UK driving licence – essential.
Good basic computer skills.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities.
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous van driving experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Flexibility is required to support the needs of the business.
