About the role:
You will teach and assess Levels 2 & 3 in Professional Hairdressing to Apprentices, and provide professional training to a group of learners.
Requirements:
- Experienced and competent as a hairstylist
- Level 3 qualification in hairdressing
- Teaching qualification – minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training
- Assessor qualification - desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent organisational skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Excellent time management skills
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To plan learning activities per the delivery model standards, ensuring quality and flexibility to meet learner needs.
- To deliver high-quality teaching sessions.
- To keep updated with current thinking and changes in education, training and assessment.
- To follow the awarding organisations' guidelines.
- To follow Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values policies and processes and promote these during curriculum delivery.
- To follow all company policies and procedures.
