Job description
Are you looking for a freelance role? If you want to join an ambitious and quickly growing company with exciting plans for the coming months and years, this role could be perfect for you.
You will teach and assess the Level 2 & 3 in Professional Hairdressing to our Apprentices at our Newcastle Academy and provide professional training to a group of learners. This role is 2 days a week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To plan learning activities per the delivery model, ensuring quality and flexibility to meet learner needs.
To keep current with current thinking and changes in education, training and assessment.
To follow awarding organisations\’ guidelines
To follow Safeguarding, Prevent and British Values policies and processes and promote these during curriculum delivery
To follow all company policies and procedures
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Experience and competent as a hairstylist
. Level 3 qualification in hairdressing
Teaching qualification minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training
Assessor qualification – desirable
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Excellent organisational skills
High level of interpersonal skills
Flexible and adaptable
Excellent time management skills
Committed to raising quality
