Job purpose
We are recruiting a highly motivated, conscientious, innovative and experienced trainer/assessor to deliver a range of Essential Work Skills programmes, both in the workplace and classroom, to 19+ learners to support entry into employment, further training/education and support progression in their current roles.
We are particularly seeking individuals with vocational expertise in sectors including manufacturing, construction, logistics, business improvement and/or health and safety. Previous experience of delivering Performing Manufacturing Operations (PMO) and Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) is advantageous but not essential.
Who you are:
- You hold an assessor award, such as CAVA or A1
- An energetic, motivated, tutor with proven success in delivering vocational programmes.
- Experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, or construction is desirable.
- Strong ICT and administrative skills, with the ability to manage paperwork effectively.
What youll do:
- Deliver high impact training in classroom, workplace, and small group settings, including short courses tailored to production/manufacturing, logistics and health and safety.
- Support learners with tailored Information Advice and Guidance, building confidence and career readiness.
- Design, prepare, and assess programmes that drive real results.
- Create and maintain high-quality learning materials and documentation.
