Job description:

We are looking for adedicated and passionate Early Years Tutorin the Norwicharea,to deliver L2, L3 and L5 Childcare apprenticeship qualifications. You will be joining a well established and specialist apprenticeship provider in the Early Years sector. This is a home based role with travel in the local region to meet with learners in their workplace.

This vacancy is open to experienced, qualified assessors and newly qualified assessors.

Please note that due to the volume of applications we receive, only applicants who have answered the qualifying questions will be considered.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering vocational qualifications and preparing learners for end-point assessments, using coaching and assessment methods that comply with the National Standards and Awarding Body requirements.

You will also be required to provide high levels of support to learners and work closely with childcare providers to ensure that training provision meets their business needs. Achieving organisational targets for qualification achievement rates is a key responsibility of this role.

In addition to teaching and assessing, the Early Years Tutor will be responsible for administration tasks, managing appointments, and keeping up-to-date with the latest policies and procedures. The successful candidate must have excellent time-management and organisational skills, as well as a positive outlook and self-motivation.

The successful candidate will have…

  • CAVA, A1 award or equivalent –Essential
  • Degree in Early Years and/or Nursery Management experience.-Essential
  • Min Level 3 Teaching Qualification AET, PTTLS or equivalent. –Desirable
  • Childcare assessing experience. –Desirable
  • A desire to continually improve
  • A great attitude and ability to work in a team.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • An Ability to multi-task and manage your time effectively.
  • Great presentation skills.
