Location: 100% Remote.
Reporting Line: Reports to the CEO. No direct reports initially. Team management responsibilities might be added over time as your role progresses and the team grows.
The role
- Capability Consulting Support (approx. 60%)
- This is the core of the role. You will work directly on enterprise marketing capability programmes, including our current engagement with a global pharmaceutical company.
- Design and build diagnostic surveys using, applying appropriate scale formats and behaviorally anchored items calibrated to proficiency levels.
- Analyse diagnostic data in Excel and BI tools: gap analysis, importance-proficiency scoring, heatmaps, and role/market cuts.
- Review capability frameworks against best-practice criteria: clarity, completeness, role alignment, maturity progression, measurability.
- Prepare client-ready slides: capability framework overviews, diagnostic results decks, stakeholder pre-reads, and workshop materials.
- Manage the operational rhythm of engagements: stakeholder scheduling, action tracking, document version control, and delivery milestone management.
- Offer structured angles for consideration to the consulting partner: alternative interpretations, risks, gaps in the evidence base.
- Course and Learning Content (approx. 20%)
- Drawing on knowledge built through client work and research, you will help translate frameworks and insights into structured learning content.
- Script course modules using AI-assisted production tools.
- Design learning structures: module outlines, session flow, exercises, and assessment items.
- Ensure course content reflects real-world application, not just theoretical frameworks.
- Research and Insight Writing (approx. 10%)
- Contributing to LXA's published research output, which builds market credibility and feeds directly back into consulting and course work.
- Identify and synthesise data points, benchmarks, and case evidence relevant to marketing capability.
- Draft sections of research reports using Claude and other tools, with appropriate quality control.
- Track how enterprise marketing capability is evolving: AI adoption, operating model shifts, diagnostics approaches.
- Speaker and Community Engagement (approx. 10%)
- Supporting our event programme by identifying and approaching relevant practitioners.
- Research and approach senior marketing practitioners and emerging thinkers for AntiCon and related events.
- Brief speakers so their sessions connect to programme themes and deliver genuine practitioner value.
