About the role. Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will oversee the Big 6 compliance areas, lead the delivery of the planned works programme, asset data strategy, and stock condition survey programme. You will also provide professional leadership, ensure robust governance, and deliver high-quality services that protect residents, staff, and the organisation.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading our approach to property compliance and building safety
  • Taking ownership of the Big 6 compliance areas
  • Driving the planned works and investment programme
  • Shaping our asset data strategy and stock condition survey
  • Ensuring strong governance and regulatory compliance
  • Leading and developing a small, high-performing team
  • Acting as the organisation’s go-to expert on compliance and asset management

Key skills and experience

  • Experienced in property compliance, asset management, or building safety
  • Confident managing planned works or capital programmes
  • Strong understanding of compliance legislation and regulatory standards
  • Knowledge of damp and mould management
  • Comfortable working with asset data and property systems
  • A hands-on leader who can motivate and develop a team
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and contractors
  • Calm under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset
