This role is central to telling our stories, celebrating our people, showcasing our products, and connecting with customers, suppliers, and prospective employees.
You will manage content planning, creation, and community engagement, and be hands on with design and video production, ensuring our LWC social media channels reflect our brand values and business priorities.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about what they do, with a passion for drinks, and a proven track record in direct-to-consumer social media marketing within FMCG, the on-trade or the drinks industry, demonstrating strategic thinking, creative prowess, and a deep understanding of social media trends and campaign activations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and own LWC’s social media strategy to grow reach, engagement, and brand reputation.
• Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok (launch phase).
• Plan and deliver engaging content campaigns aligned with marketing priorities, trade events, and seasonal opportunities.
• Create compelling copy, visuals, and video content.
• Showcase our award-winning wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks portfolio, people, events, and depot activity in fresh and engaging ways.
• Work with depot teams to support regional events and travel to these events across the UK (trade shows, tastings, festivals), capturing and amplifying content.
• Track, analyse, and report on social performance to key stakeholders in simple, clear ways.
• Keep ahead of industry trends and new platform features to ensure LWC stays innovative and relevant.
• Manage paid social activity for LWC and our supplier partners, driving measurable ROI.
• Act as brand guardian, ensuring tone of voice and visuals reflect our wholesaler positioning.
What We’re Looking For:

• Strong creative skills with proven experience producing engaging social content.
• Excellent writing ability, with a knack for tailoring tone to platform and audience.
• Confident in photography, short-form video, and content editing tools.
• Analytical mindset with experience using platform insights and reporting tools.
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• A genuine interest in drinks, hospitality, and digital trends.
• Full driving license, and the ability to travel across the UK visiting our depots and attending events.
What We Offer
• Competitive salary (depending on experience).
• Additional 20% annual bonus
• Opportunities to attend trade shows, portfolio tastings, and industry events.
• Staff discount on our drinks portfolio
• Ongoing professional development in a fast-paced, growing business.
