Overview
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Depot: LWC Leyland
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day to day running of the delivery operations for the following day, ensuring all customer orders are picked correctly, stacked correctly and wrapped in a professional manner.
- Pick from approximately 1,500 different products ranging from kegs to packaged beers to wines and spirits.
- Manual handling is a key element of the role.
- Adhere to good practice within the warehouse and report stock issues to supervisory or stock control team.
- Correctly pick orders and place in the correct areas for deliveries; adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Wear the correct equipment for the job on site (e.g., safety boots, gloves, high visibility vest).
- Maintain housekeeping standards at all times.
- Put away all new stock ASAP in the correct bin-bay locations matching the delivery note received.
- Assist with stock audits on a weekly basis and with monthly stock takes at weekends if required.
- Flexible approach to working; assist drivers as mate as and when required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Ability to prioritise workloads.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Good product knowledge.
- Flexi FLT licence is an advantage.
Additional Information:
Monday-Friday, 10am - 7pm (Rota Saturday 1 in 4). LWC Drinks Ltd provides licensed establishments with all their bar and sundry supplies. We are a growing drinks company with multiple depots across the UK.
