Overview
As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in achieving sales targets and growing our customer base within your designated area. This role is specifically new business. Your primary responsibilities include:
– Delivering the agreed budgeted margin for your postcode area.- Expanding the number of trading accounts by meeting new business targets.- Retaining and developing existing customers through category upselling.- Representing LWC Drinks to the market and bringing valuable market insights back to the company.
Main Duties
– Achieve and exceed depot gross margin targets.- Manage the debt ledger for your area, ensuring timely completion of account forms and prompt collection of payments.- Drive sales on core brands in partnership with brand partners.- Consistently exceed customer service expectations.- Take full ownership and management of customer accounts from initiation to retention.- Collaborate effectively with internal departments, including telesales, credit control, sales support, distribution, and administration.- Coordinate technical installations for draught beer dispense equipment.- Provide expert, impartial advice on promotional activities to help customers grow their businesses.- Work closely with brand representatives within your area.- Actively promote LWC Drinks’ own brand products.
Knowledge and Experience
– Strong customer service skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for record-keeping and analysis.- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.- In-depth knowledge of the drinks industry, product offerings, and on-trade market.- WSET Level 1 certification (preferred).- Proven commercial experience in selling wine, preferably in the on-trade sector.
– Strong track record in sales and achieving growth targets.
Essential Requirements
– Proficiency in IT systems relevant to sales and account management.- Demonstrated sales experience, ideally within the hospitality sector.- Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
