Main Duties:
- Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the purpose of the picker packer will be to complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the delivery operations for the following day, ensuring all customers orders are picked correctly, stacked correctly and wrapped in a professional manner picking from 1500 different products ranging from kegs to packaged beers to wines and spirits. Manual handling is one of the main elements of this role.
Key Skills:
- Adhering to good practice within the warehouse;
- Responsible for correctly picking orders and placing in the correct areas for deliveries;
- Reporting stock issues to supervisory or stock control team;
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times;
- Wear the correct equipment for your job when on site, for example, safety boots, gloves, the correct high visibility vest;
- Assist with ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained at all times;
- Ensure that all new stock delivered must be put away ASAP; all stock must be put away in the correct bin-bay location and match the delivery note received;
- Assist with stock audits on a weekly basis;
- Assist in the monthly stock takes at weekends if and when required;
- Flexible approach to working;
- Assisting drivers as mate as and when required.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Being able to prioritise workloads;
- Good teamwork skills;
- Good communication skills;
- Good product knowledge;
- Flexi FLT licence is an advantage.

Monday-Friday, 10am - 7pm (Rota Saturday 1 in 4)
