The role of His Majesty's Theatre is looking for an individual to join the venue maintenance team. In this role you will carry out a wide range of electrical projects and maintenance works, to help maintain and future proof this historic venue.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out first line electrical maintenance of installations, lighting and emergency lighting.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance inspections as required.
- Oversee visiting contractors with regards to standard of work and Health & Safety.
- Assist with conducting contractor inductions & permits to work.
- Provide first line troubleshooting of technical facilities such as digital screens, door access systems, tills, CCTV, telephony and IT solutions.
- Assist with repairs to the venue's facilities, services and fixtures and fittings.
- Manage the stock of spares and consumables in the venue.
- Ensure technical areas are kept tidy and well maintained.
What we need:
- A recognised electrical qualification is ideal, such as C&G 2330, 2365 etc.
- Knowledge & experience of In-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
