Professional grounds maintenance operative

We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional grounds maintenance operative to join our dynamic team. in this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of various outdoor spaces. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and grounds keeping will ensure all areas are kept in pristine condition, safe, and welcoming for visitors and users alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a physical active environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and Fertilizing to keep grounds healthy and visually appealing.
- Operate a variety of power tools including ride on lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, lawn mowers, and hedge cutters safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools for planting, weeding, aerating soil, and other grounds maintenance activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify hazards or maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Assist with general site maintenance including debris removal, fencing repairs, and surface levelling to ensure safety and aesthetics are upheld.
Experience:
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of power tools, gardening equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
