We are looking for a skilled MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will carry out MOT testing alongside servicing, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring vehicles meet safety and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and servicing
- Inspect vehicle systems including brakes, suspension, lighting, and exhausts
- Accurately record test results and recommend repairs where required
- Maintain MOT testing equipment and follow health & safety procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues
Requirements
- Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
- Fully qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools required (workshop equipment provided)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
Hours
Mon–Thu 8:00–5:30 | Fri 8:00–5:00 | Saturday 8:00–12:00 (overtime)
