Are you an organised and customer-focused professional who can provide prospective families with an exceptional experience from their first enquiry through to enrolment? LVS Ascot is seeking an Admissions Officer to join its busy Admissions Team. This is an important, varied role supporting the recruitment of UK and international day pupils and boarders.

About LVS Ascot

LVS Ascot is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 4–19. The school provides a supportive and inspiring environment in which pupils are encouraged to develop academically and personally. Its extensive Ascot campus offers excellent academic, sporting, creative and boarding facilities, supported by a strong commitment to pastoral care and the individual needs of every pupil.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Admissions, you will manage an allocated portfolio of prospective pupils and families throughout the complete admissions journey. You will provide a warm, professional and highly personalised service while ensuring that applications, visits, assessments, offers and enrolment documentation are progressed efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly and professionally to enquiries from parents, pupils, agents and other stakeholders
  • Providing accurate information about the school, admissions procedures, fees, day places and boarding options
  • Managing applications from initial enquiry through registration, assessment, offer, acceptance and enrolment
  • Building positive relationships with prospective families and following up enquiries and applications proactively
  • Coordinating school tours, interviews, assessments, taster days and admissions events
  • Liaising with academic, pastoral, boarding, finance, SEND and EAL colleagues
  • Supporting international applications and ensuring the required documentation is obtained
  • Maintaining accurate admissions records using iSAMS
  • Monitoring outstanding offers, conditions and joining documentation
  • Supporting Open Days, scholarship events and other recruitment activities
  • Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion

This is a year-round role providing admissions coverage during school holidays as part of the team’s annual staffing arrangements. Some flexibility will be required in line with the admissions cycle and School events.

About You

You will be warm, approachable and professional, with excellent communication and organisational skills. You should also have:

  • Experience in admissions, education, administration, customer service or a similar environment
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, tasks and deadlines
  • Confidence communicating with parents, pupils and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
  • Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A professional approach to confidential and sensitive information

Experience within an independent school, school admissions, boarding or international admissions would be advantageous. Knowledge of UKVI requirements, educational agents or iSAMS would also be desirable.
