Mission
The Demand & Supply Planning Manager role plays a pivotal role in monitoring all flows related to Parfums Christian Dior including item master, purchase, importation, distribution, return, new product, end of life and stock optimisation. This position involves a collaborative partnership with the brand’s Sales, Marketing and Commercial Teams locally to ensure forecasts are in line with the business trends and expectations. Liaison, collaboration, and day to day communications with the Central HQ team are vital. The position also has a large focus on Sales Forecast Accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Manage and develop the Dior Demand and Supply Planner’s ensuring empowerment to enhance the service level delivered to Dior and fulfil company objectives and priorities.
- Monitor all flows related to the Brand: Manage replenishment to the UK, define quantities to import and adapt transportation mode based on inventory, lifecycle status and demand, to achieve high service rate while keeping stock under control.
- To Point of sales: Propose most optimized delivery frequency, stock target per SKU per POS (Point Of Sales), lot size, based on SKUs’ lifecycle status + stock in POS + actual sellout, to achieve high presence rate, limiting stock coverage and lowering obsolescence.
- Follow presence rate in POS, monitor process efficiency, manage tension/shortages, build action plan.
- New Items: Monitor incoming shipments status and adherence to launch, calculate first replenishment parameters, provide qualitative feedback.
- End of Life: Coordinate EOL process to reduce obsolescence, provide visibility on performance and risks for service / stock / logistics P&L impact to Brand and BPC. Make recommendations and lead actions to drive business metrics with key internal functional areas and key clients. Attend periodic Operation Reviews with brand’s Top Management.
- Maintain item master data, to ensure we always have updated relevant catalogue.
- Provide added value on Forecast process, by either leading the process with Brand or supporting Brand.
Performance Monitoring & Enhancement
- Define KPIs and Objectives with Head of Operations.
- Monitor Demand & Supply activities, prepare monthly report, and define corrective actions plans.
- Execute actions plans with the Team to improve processes, methods, and ensure coordination with Business Controlling, Finance, Sales Administration, Warehouse, Suppliers and Brands’ forecasting/marketing teams to optimize our supply to Dior UK.
- Continue development of S&OP for Dior in the UK with close adherence to HQ / Central and local Controlling / Operational factors, working with the Head of Operations.
Profile Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Experience in Supply Chain, in Demand & Supply Planning functions.
- Strong People Management Skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong in Analytics and Planning.
- Strong (simple & direct) Messaging.
- Leadership skills to lead and drive team for operations excellence.
- Ability to effectively communicate (upwards and within own team).
- Expert in Excel and SAP, strong knowledge of Power BI.
