The Opportunity

At SEPHORA UK, we’re delivering one of the country’s most exciting retail expansion programmes, with an ambitious pipeline of new store openings in 2027 and beyond.

As Visual Merchandising – Retail Project Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of visual merchandising projects that bring each new store to life and ensure it is ready to welcome our customers.

This is a hands-on role with real impact, taking projects from initial design coordination and construction handover through to brand partner installation and successful store opening.

Working closely with the Head of Visual Merchandising, you’ll bring together internal Property and Retail teams, HQ stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and brand partners to deliver multiple projects at pace, on time and within budget.

  • What you’ll be doing…
  • Lead the visual merchandising delivery of new store openings across SEPHORA UK’s growing retail portfolio.
  • Manage projects from initial design coordination and construction handover through to installation and store opening.
  • Build and manage clear project plans, timelines and key delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate branded fixtures and visual merchandising installations ahead of each opening.
  • Prepare in-store visual merchandising materials, including guidelines, merchandising plans, display elements and print assets.
  • Manage external contractors, suppliers and shopfitting partners throughout project delivery.
  • Work closely with brand partners to coordinate installation requirements and ensure readiness.
  • Own project budgets, monitoring spend and ensuring projects are delivered within agreed parameters.
  • Collaborate with Property, Retail and HQ teams to align activity and ensure stores are ready to open.
  • Conduct regular store visits across the UK to oversee progress and support delivery.
  • Lead visual merchandising project handovers, snagging reports and the resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Support the Head of Visual Merchandising in establishing effective and consistent project delivery.
  • What you’ll bring…

You’ll be a hands‑on, commercially minded project manager who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Collaborative and confident in your approach, you’ll bring structure to complex projects, build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and keep delivery moving without losing sight of quality, budget or the end goal.

  • Proven experience delivering retail projects, with a strong understanding of what it takes to open stores at pace.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confidence managing external contractors, suppliers and brand partners.
  • Strong project planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience managing capex budgets and maintaining commercial oversight.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, timelines and project dependencies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external teams.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach to resolving issues and maintaining momentum.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to support project delivery and store openings.
  • A professional qualification in Project Management would be beneficial.
