We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated People Operations Manager to join our dynamic HR team for the UKISA region (700 headcount, 17 stores, 3 countries). This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient HR operations and contributing to a thriving work environment within Louis Vuitton. The successful candidate will be a hands-on HR professional with a strong operational background and a keen eye for detail. You will have one direct report.

Job responsibilities

  • Payroll Management
    • Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process across our three counties, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
    • Liaise with external payroll providers, internal finance and Retail Performance teams on all Compensation and benefits related topics.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and employment legislation.
  • HR Controlling, Budgeting & Reporting
    • Lead the development and maintaining of HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide insights into HR performance and support strategic decision-making.
    • Supervise FTE and Payroll planning and monitoring of our HR team budget.
    • Lead HR data analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement and opportunities.
  • HRIS Management
    • Act as a key user and administrator for our HR Information Systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and optimal system utilization.
    • Support HRIS implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
    • Provide training and support to HR team members, managers and employees on HRIS functionalities.
  • Compensation & Benefits Management
    • Support the development, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
    • Conduct market benchmarking and analysis to ensure attractiveness of our C&B offer.
    • Lead annual salary reviews and manage variable pay schemes (bonus and commissions) throughout the year.
    • Manage and update all benefits plans with our external providers.
  • International Mobility & Visa Management
    • Manage and coordinate immigration processes, including visa applications, work permits, and other necessary documentation for international transferees and new hires.
    • Act as a key point of contact for employees and external immigration counsel, ensuring compliance with UKISA immigration laws and regulations.
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on relocation.
  • Employee Relations
    • Follow up and supervise with our legal advisor, complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
    • Support investigations and provide recommendations for appropriate actions, coordinate cases with our Health & Security team.

Profile

  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in a similar Payroll Management, People / HR Operations or C&B Manager role.
  • Retail / Hospitality or fast-paced environment background preferred.
  • Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting, with experience in creating HR dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll management from A to Z and HRIS.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Strong understanding of UKISA employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
