If you love diving into data, shaping commercial strategy, and bringing clarity to a fast‐moving omnichannel environment, this role offers the chance to make a real impact.

You’ll be the driving force behind our sales and margin forecasting across our strategic projects, delivering highly accurate, insight‐led predictions that guide our trading, financial planning and operational decision‑making.

Working closely with cross‑functional partners - including Omni Trading, Category Management, E‑Commerce, Retail, Finance, Supply Chain and Demand Planning - you’ll help shape trading strategies, influence leadership decisions, and help bring alignment across our full portfolio.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll manage commercial forecasting and analysis across strategic business projects.
  • Build sales forecasts by brand by channel, partnering with Retail, Finance and Category teams to align assumptions on traffic, conversion and basket size.
  • Build daily, monthly and full-year forecasts, ensuring alignment with trading plans and key business initiatives.
  • Translate sales forecasts into operational order forecasts, enabling Supply Chain to plan labor and capacity effectively.
  • Present forecasts to senior leadership, outlining sales and margin expectations, key risks, opportunities and required decisions.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to identify commercial insights and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Collaborate on margin forecasts by channel, providing guidance on promotional strategy, loyalty offers, redemptions and code usage to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Partnering with BI to drive a holistic view of campaign performance and optimise trading activity across channels.
  • Collaborate with Finance on budgets, strategic planning and in‑year forecasting cycles.
  • Analyse retail productivity performance and share actionable insights with Category teams.
  • Support wider forecasting, reporting and analytical projects as required.
  • What you’ll bring…

You’ll be a commercially minded, analytical and highly collaborative professional who thrives in a fast‑paced trading environment.

With a proactive, self‑motivated approach, you build strong relationships across functions, influence stakeholders with confidence, and bring the curiosity and problem‑solving mindset needed to continuously improve forecasting accuracy and deliver results.

  • Proven experience in forecasting, merchandising, planning, or a similar commercial analytics role, ideally within an omni‑channel retail environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of trading performance and key business KPIs.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into meaningful actions.
  • Experience using forecasting, planning and reporting tools to support commercial decision‑making.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing decisions at all levels of the business.
