REPORTS TO: RETAIL DESIGN AND VM MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Support the Retail Design and VM Manager to drive the Store Design & Visual Merchandising strategy across the UK market for Acqua Di Parma and Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Strive to deliver leading retail experience in-line with the brands global strategy and act as a guardian of evert brands image.

Job responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Store Design

  • Be the guardian of each brand to ensure perfect execution for each new launch or counter update
  • Support the Retail Design and VM Manager to drive and implement the Store Design strategy (in-store/large pop-up sites) which delivers a retail experience in-line with the global brand strategy and deliver a commercial return
  • Support with evaluating design elements such as materials, costs, lead-times with local agencies in line with global guidelines, to support the launch of new doors whilst driving profitable growth relative to the UK market.
  • Review effectiveness of Store Design practices on an on-going basis to ensure innovation, consumer interest and increased store profitability, and share ideas and analysis with the Retail Design & VM Manager
  • Collaborate seamlessly with external Retail Design partners and agencies to deliver consistent high-level executions
  • Support the Retail Design & VM Manager with delivering new counter projects and key pop-up sites across all both brands
  • Support the store and retail teams for all counter install and counter maintenance topics, ensuring a resolution is put in place quickly and efficiently
  • Work closely with sales team and regional account managers to ensure designs and pop-up layouts are correct for the retailer, location and customer, considering stock capacities and sales targets.
  • Track and manager all purchase orders in relation to ongoing projects, ensuring budgets are maintained and orders are paid in line with the payment terms
  • Oversee and manage the creation of supporting new counter documents to communicate with retail & HQ teams
  • Manage and execute large scale pop-ups and temporary animations in-line with the global brand strategy and deliver a commercial return
  • Evaluate design elements such as materials, costs, lead-times with local agencies in line with global guidelines, to support the Marketing strategy whilst driving profitable growth relative to the UK market.
  • Work closely with sales team and regional account managers to ensure designs and pop-up layouts are correct for the retailer, location and customer, considering stock capacities and sales targets.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with external VM retailer partners and agencies to deliver consistent high-level executions
  • Support the Visual Merchandising Executive with forecasting and inbounding of global VM tools ahead of installation
  • Support the store and retail teams for all counter install and counter maintenance topics, ensuring a resolution is put in place quickly and efficiently

Profile

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships internally & externally
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Proven organisation skills, time management skills, high level of detail orientation and ability to implement and execute multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with several different departments & across all levels of the organization
  • Proactive approach to all tasks and projects and shows initiative solve problems.
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong team player and a can do attitude
  • Understanding of customer experience requirements in a department store

Technical Skills

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, InDesign & Excel
  • Experience in one of more of the following design software’s Sketch Up / AutoCAD / Revit
  • Some knowledge of electrical and health and safety standards

Profile

  • 3-5 years experience in a Visual Merchandising or Store Design
  • Inherent interest in luxury industry and beauty
  • Desire to build a career within the Retail Design and Visual Merchandising industry
