MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • SALES
  • To pro-actively sell Guerlain products and provide a luxury standard of service to customers.
  • To be aware of and achieve or exceed sales targets, as set by your line manager.
  • To pro-actively link sell across product categories, to increase average transaction value (ATV) and average transaction units (ATU).
  • SERVICE
    • To be knowledgeable on all Guerlain products and be able to propose personalised products to clients and confidently and appropriately overcome any objections.
    • Demonstrate products on clients by means of flash make-overs and confidently explain the benefits of each product.
    • To initiate contact with customers and welcome them both at the counter and through traffic stopping.
    • To identify, understand and reformulate the client needs.
    • To develop personal relationships with clients and to gain loyalty.
    • To educate clients on Guerlain products and the brand.
    • KPI: To achieve target for Mystery Shopping.
  • GENERAL
    • To participate in merchandise management and ensure that it is in line with Corporate guidelines.
    • To monitor stock levels, report any issues to the Counter Manager and ensure that there are sufficient levels.
    • To conduct all assigned operational and administrative tasks.
    • To be a Guerlain brand ambassador and representative at all times.
    • To adhere to all Company procedures and policies, as outlined in the employee handbook.
    • To build relationships with store management and adhere to all store policies and procedures.
    • To carry out any additional duties as directed by the management team.

    • Reports to: Business / Account Manager

    CONTACTS AND RELATIONSHIPS

    • Internal: Counter team, Area Managers, Retail Managers, RMA’s.

    • You will be able to demonstrate cosmetics and make-up application knowledge, and through excellent communication skills, be able to identify key items that would suit the customers’ needs.
    • Immaculately groomed and presented; you will embody the elegance that customers have come to identify with Guerlain.
