Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on transportation infrastructure projects
- Lead the development of roadway and transportation design plans
- Serve as a task lead and contribute to mentoring junior staff
- Prepare full design packages or key components of larger projects
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure project accuracy and compliance
- Participate in client meetings and represent the firm in external settings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license required
- 5-10 years of roadway design and transportation engineering experience
- Experience working with State DOTs; municipal experience a plus
- Exposure to Complete Streets or multimodal design preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with clients
- Experience with proposals, scope development, and budgeting is a plus
