Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Digital Forensics team, ensuring high standards in evidence handling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Oversee forensic investigations related to cyber incidents, insider threats, data breaches, fraud, and other digital crimes.
  • Develop and implement digital forensics policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, HR, and IT security teams to support investigations and litigation.
  • Maintain and enhance forensic tools, lab environments, and methodologies.
  • Provide expert testimony and support legal proceedings when required.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, forensic techniques, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in digital forensics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM).
  • Experience with cloud forensics, mobile device forensics, and malware analysis.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, eDiscovery).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
