As a Press Brake Service Engineer, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of our Press Brake machines in the field. You play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, technical expertise, and professional communication. You act as a technical expert and trusted advisor to our customers, representing the LVD brand at all times and contributing to long-term customer relationships.
Your responsibilities:
- Install and commission Press Brake machines at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Press Brake equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and provide effective solutions
- Deliver technical training to customers on the operation and maintenance of Press Brakes
- Communicate effectively with the Service Manager to ensure customer expectations are met
- Report technical issues and customer feedback to the appropriate internal teams
- Promote LVD products and services as a brand ambassador
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience
- Work closely with end users to optimise machine performance and usability
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures
Skills:
- Proven experience in Press Brake installation and maintenance
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal machinery
- A strong technical background (mechanical, electrical, or engineering)
- The ability to work methodically with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- A customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
- Physical capability to regularly lift/move objects up to 25 kg (heavier loads occasionally required)
Qualifications:
- Technical qualification in engineering or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with Press Brake machine installation and servicing
- Valid UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and occasionally overseas
