The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a new Proposition Development Analyst to join the Protection Team – working out of either our Bournemouth or Exeter offices. You will support the Digital Proposition Manager and wider Proposition team with optimisation of digital journeys both internal and external, including 3rd party portals and aggregators to improve new business volumes, member value or customer and adviser experience.

You will lead on review and analysis of both internal and external digital journeys, developing cost vs. benefit analysis and making insight led recommendations to help shape the digital proposition roadmap to meet the needs of our valued customers and distributors and to support LV= Protection growth plans. You will act as custodian and SME for digital journeys, working with and providing expert support for BAU, continuous improvement and/or change activity. In this role you will support with coordination and planning of development and testing activity with business, change teams and third parties to deliver change or continuous improvement. We support Hybrid working however you will be required in either our Bournemouth or Exeter offices at least 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be a subject matter expert supporting the day-to-day management of internal and external digital journeys and ensure LV= Protection Products and Propositions are positioned correctly and optimised for maximum quote exposure.
  • Monitor and analyse digital journey performance and make recommendations to help shape the digital proposition roadmap to achieve KPIs.
  • Ensure that excellent customer and distributor outcomes are delivered.
  • Develop cost v benefit analysis and insight to support proposition or digital enhancements for prioritisation.
  • Understand the impact of the journeys on delivering the financial plan for Protection products, including profitability and sales performance via digital channels and recommend performance improvement where required.
  • Developing new (and enhancing existing) digital journeys, carrying out detailed research and development, while working closely with other LV= stakeholders.
  • Design and test potential process changes and work with key stakeholders and those impacted to ensure successful implementation.
  • You will be responsible for delivery of UAT, operational and business readiness and post implementation testing for system releases in line with LV risk appetite.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of the external environment, including competitor analysis, Customer & Distributor insights, and technological/regulatory developments and initiatives.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and peers at third-party organisations.
  • Ensure all propositions are operated and managed within the LV= product governance framework, including Customer Outcomes and Fair Value considerations.
  • Work collaboratively with other areas of the business to align efforts in delivering the business plan and meeting growth aspirations of the LV= protection business, all while delivering fair customer outcomes.
  • Supporting the management within Group appetite of regulatory and legislative risks associated with proposition development.

Skills & Experience

  • A good understanding of the Protection market including portal and aggregator journeys (essential).
  • Strong technical knowledge of LV=’s Protection products or industry protection products and needs (essential).
  • Experience in delivering change and agile project delivery.
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for the Protection business.
  • Intellectually curious with creative problem-solving approach, willingness to challenge status quo.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to reconcile competing priorities while meeting organisational objectives.
  • Confident communicator, able to negotiate and build relationships. Written and verbal communication is concise, well structured, and unambiguous, demonstrating consistent professional quality.
  • Proactive, assertive and positive approach. Able to think on your feet and respond quickly.
  • Computer literate with at least intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Good understanding of risk and compliance, and how to mitigate our key risks.
  • Basic understanding of project governance, lifecycle, tools and service delivery requirements from change.
