We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Business Change team here at LV=. The role will be based out of our Hitchin office on a hybrid working pattern with occasional travel to other LV= sites. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather requirements for complex initiatives to support business change, influence strategic decisions and ensure continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and define business requirements, supporting impact assessments and recommending solutions aligned with company strategy.
- Plan and document analysis approaches, apply or develop standards and techniques to add value in requirements definition.
- Facilitate workshops and gain formal agreement from diverse stakeholders on scope and requirements.
- Map ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes to support organisational and system change.
- Demonstrate creativity and innovation in the identification of project recommendations and provide quality solutions for stakeholders to consider based on cost, quality and time.
- Define or provide active input into metrics to measure business benefits.
- Appreciate the wider field of information systems, and how this relates to the company’s overall target operating model.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and third‑party suppliers to identify effective solutions, define project scope and priorities, and secure agreement on requirements aligned with business strategy.
- Manage scope changes, assess impacts (including migrations and external factors), and communicate effectively to stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and support to junior members of the team.
- Ensure quality and consistency through peer reviews and adherence to Change Management processes.
- Collaborate on initiatives to improve standards, methods and tools across the wider team.
About You
- Previous experience of working in the insurance/financial services, ideally in relation to wealth management platforms.
- Demonstrable experience of successful involvement in a range of complex projects across different business functions.
- Proven BA expertise across multiple projects and methodologies, applying best practices to deliver value across diverse business domains.
- Experience of RAID management, reporting and logging requirements.
- Skilled in facilitating workshops and meetings, with effective stakeholder management at all levels.
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities to drive alignment and resolve issues.
- Commercially aware with experience managing internal and external delivery partners.
- Logical and creative thinking skills to help solve business change challenges effectively using own initiative.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills within a business change environment.
- Thorough and organised approach to work and analysis activities in line with business priorities.
