You’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering content that is not only clear and user-focused, but also visually structured to support seamless, intuitive journeys. This is an ideal role for someone who blends editorial rigour with a strong eye for design —you’ll competently write and structure content, then bring that content to life within user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building, shaping and structuring content using our CMS tools (UX and SEO).
  • Translating content into visually compelling digital experiences, using reusable design components within Figma and/or our CMS.
  • Working with existing templates and suggesting visual enhancements to improve user journeys where appropriate.
  • Ensuring consistency in tone, formatting, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
  • Writing and editing clear, concise web content, calls to action, and page-level messaging.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Manager and UX team to design and develop content for new or optimised journeys.
  • Applying UI principles to design layout mock-ups and wireframes to enhance readability and engagement, and ensuring all content and UI outputs align to brand guidelines.
  • Partnering with SEO and performance teams to interpret insights and improve both content and visual performance.
  • Helping test and iterate designs (A/B or qualitative feedback) to improve clarity, usability, and conversion.
  • Monitoring design consistency across the site, ensuring components are used appropriately.
  • Ensuring that all published content and UI components meet internal governance standards.
  • Checking page-level design for accessibility, responsive behaviour, and visual integrity.
  • Working closely with UX researchers, developers, and other designers to shape joined-up experiences.
  • Participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, design reviews, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Supporting UI improvements across projects, landing pages, and campaign journeys.

About You

  • Be a proficient user of content management systems (e.g., Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress).
  • Have working knowledge of UI design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) and basic layout or wireframing practices.
  • Understand UX principles, content hierarchy, and accessibility.
  • Effectively be able to create or shape web content that is clear, user-focused and conversion-focused.
  • Successfully be able to design/adapt web layouts and components within design systems.
  • Have basic knowledge of SEO and web performance metrics.
  • Be organised, approachable and collaborative, with a flexible, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Balance creative thinking with structured delivery in a fast-paced digital team.
