We have a unique opportunity for a talented Corporate Communications Manager to join our established, supportive team. If you are a creative storyteller, a confident planner, and someone who thrives on shaping compelling narratives, this is a fantastic chance for you to make a real impact. Within this role, you'll manage integrated communications activity across PR, public affairs, internal communications, and colleague engagement. You will help to protect and enhance our reputation, strengthen employee connection, and bring our purpose and priorities to life through clear, consistent, and engaging communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering an integrated external and internal communications strategy, aligning to corporate objectives, and engaging our audiences.
- Managing and delivering cross-functional projects and campaigns.
- Shaping corporate positioning and developing strategic narratives.
- Managing our media relations and public affairs activity.
- Managing internal channels, and events (online and in-person).
- Managing crisis and issues communications.
- Supporting leadership visibility externally and internally.
- Building strong working relationships and collaborating with teams across the business.
- Acting as a brand guardian, ensuring the consistency of tone of voice and messaging across all communication touchpoints.
- Managing a small, multi-disciplinary in-house team, and a communications agency.
- Accurately measuring and analysing effective communication and refining activity accordingly.
About You
- Be able to effectively write communications strategies, translating objectives into clear, targeted, multi-channel plans.
- Have experience of working with the media.
- Competently manage multiple projects and campaigns, spanning internal and external communications and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Have experience of using internal platforms to support colleague engagement.
- Possess outstanding writing and editing skills.
- Maintain consistent levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate event planning experience to support colleague engagement (both online and in person).
- Be a supportive and values-driven people manager, with a focus on managing your team effectively to achieve high levels of performance.
- Be confident in advising senior leaders and preparing them for media or internal engagements and activity.
- Have experience managing crisis, issues and change communications.
- Have experience of working within financial services (desirable but not essential).
