About the Role

We have an opportunity for a proactive individual to join an established team as a Retirement Options Coordinator. Within this exciting role, you will act as a first point of contact to existing and prospective retirement advice customers. You’ll establish and understand customer needs and requirements, to assess and identify the best options for the customer and provide a high-quality handover to the appropriate colleague within the Advice & Direct team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional customer service to all customers, clearly explaining their options and ensuring regulatory requirements are met consistently.
  • Engaging with new and existing customers and corporate partners via inbound and outbound calling and digital mediums to introduce potential retirement advice solutions, form and agree on the best action suitable for the customer and provide a high-quality handover to an LV= colleague as appropriate.
  • Providing a strong level of ongoing customer engagement and support.
  • Self-generating leads and business by proactively contacting leads generated via the internet, existing members and other marketing channels.
  • Identifying where customers would benefit from receiving advice or where other solutions may be more suitable.
  • Providing daily support to all teams within A&D, to include booking appointments, adding workflows and contacting clients.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for our defined benefit corporate partners, demonstrating a good knowledge of our internal process, fees and scheme rules.
  • Consistently meeting the required regulatory standards to deliver positive customer outcomes.
  • Provide an outstanding level of customer service and build a strong rapport with customers.
  • Proactively identify your own self-development needs to achieve personal and business goals via development frameworks.
  • Contributing your ideas and initiatives to the business to increase profitability.
  • Consistently meeting the required standards defined by the LV= Risk Management function and external regulatory bodies.

About You

  • Demonstrate strong IT and numerical skills.
  • Be a fantastic communicator, with the ability to listen, build trust and provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Be willing to learn and grow within your role, focusing on development opportunities where possible.
  • Efficiently managing your time to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Have an excellent eye for detail and produce accurate work.
  • Build strong working relationships with your team members and the wider business.
  • Have experience of working within a phone-based environment.
  • Previous sales experience in a regulated environment is desirable but not essential.
  • R01 qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
