Could you be the next Fundraising Executive for a high-end establishment? LV Recruitment is looking for an experienced fundraiser or consultative salesperson to support with generating pledges & donations from various new or existing supporters. This position requires someone with excellent relationship-building skills who can represent the establishment to the highest standards.

You will work with a passionate and supportive team to bring everything together via in person & virtual meetings & events, telethons, travelling to meet with prospects & dinners. Working with tact and discretion to grow donations. You’ll receive mentoring & support, so you are not expected to know everything about the higher education industry, however, we are looking for someone who understands the consultative sales process and will learn and promote the key areas to increase donations.

You will work with an agreed pool of prospects such as alumnae, supporters/volunteers and high net worth individuals, working with the team to decide the best methods to establish and build connections and contact.

Experience:
  • A sales-based skillset and outlook that benefits from a naturally warm and consultative style
  • Previous experience in fundraising or sales
  • Ability to exercise initiative, good judgement, cultural tact and diplomacy in meetings
  • Excellent and precise command of English, both written and oral, and high level of numeracy
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and use of CRM databases
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive data with discretion.

Salary offered is £35,000 - £41,000 depending on skills & experience. This role is predominantly onsite in Oxford City Centre with the opportunity for 1 or 2 days work from home once trained.
