LV Logistics have an exciting opportunity for a 3.5t Flatbed Van Driver to join the team in Middlesbrough. This is a full time, permanent position within a growing global logistics organisation known for reliability, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.
The Role
- The 3.5t Flatbed Van Driver will carry out UK‑wide collections and deliveries, complete all required paperwork, and perform daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- You’ll represent the company professionally, work independently and within the wider team, and provide holiday cover for the Class 2 rigid fleet when needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Class 2 Licence (required for holiday cover across our 26t rigid fleet)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ambitious, organised and driven
- ADR licence desirable – training can be provided
- Tail‑lift experience desirable – training can be provided
- Monday to Friday workload, with occasional optional weekend work
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collections and deliveries across the UK using a 3.5t flatbed vehicle
- Provide holiday cover for Class 2 rigid fleet when required
- Follow specific job instructions and complete all relevant paperwork
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with Health & Safety, Vehicle and Tachograph legislation
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers
