We are looking for a creative and commercially-minded eCommerce Content & SEO Executive to join the team. The right candidate will have a strong instinct for compelling product copy and a deep understanding of what makes content perform across eCommerce and D2C channels.
At the core of this role is SEO. You will lead our approach to content optimisation across marketplace PDPs (Amazon and other key marketplaces) and support DTC product pages, driving visibility, click-through and conversion through both creative content and a sharp understanding of how algorithms and search behaviour are evolving. This is not a support role; we need someone who will proactively own and push our SEO content strategy forward.
What You’ll Be Doing- SEO Strategy & Innovation
- Lead the SEO content strategy across marketplace listings (Amazon-first) and DTC product pages, ensuring content is continuously optimised for visibility and conversion.
- Stay ahead of changes to marketplace and search engine algorithms, proactively identifying opportunities and adapting our approach before competitors do.
- Drive SEO innovation — testing new content formats, keyword strategies, and structural approaches to PDPs to improve ranking and performance.
- Conduct regular keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content decisions across all channels.
- Monitor SEO performance using relevant tools and translate data into clear, actionable improvements.
- Build and maintain a working knowledge of marketplace-specific ranking factors.
- SEO Copywriting
- Write high-quality, conversion-focused product descriptions, titles, and bullet points optimised for both search and the customer.
- Adapt tone and structure for different channels — marketplace listings, DTC PDPs, and campaign content — while maintaining brand consistency.
- Balance SEO requirements with genuine creative quality, producing copy that ranks and reads well.
- Develop a strong understanding of the Client’s brand, product ranges and customers to write with authority and relevance.
- Comfortable with testing content optimisations to understand which performs better, based on the data.
- Content Optimisation & Management
- Own the end-to-end quality of product detail pages across marketplaces and DTC, from copy and imagery through to structured data and enhanced content (A+ Content, Brand Stores, etc.).
- Conduct regular audits of all marketplace content elements to build out best-in-class practices and develop content strategies.
- Upload and update product listings, images, and copy across eCommerce platforms, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment at all times.
- Manage content updates across key marketplace accounts, maintaining high standards of data quality and presentation.
- Reporting & Collaboration
- Track and report on content and SEO performance, clearly communicating results and recommendations to the wider team.
- Liaise with internal teams and clients to gather content briefs, product information, and campaign requirements.
- Maintain content trackers, calendars, and documentation to keep projects on track.
- Support general eCommerce admin tasks where required.
- Essential
- Proven creative copywriting ability with a portfolio or examples of eCommerce or product content.
- Solid, working knowledge of SEO, not just the basics, but an understanding of how to apply it strategically in an eCommerce context.
- Experience optimising marketplace PDPs, ideally Amazon, with an understanding of how marketplace search differs from Google.
- Comfortable working with CMS platforms and eCommerce systems.
- Ability to analyse performance data and use it to make informed content decisions.
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy in product information and copy is non-negotiable.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Desirable
- Experience using SEO tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout or similar.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central and enhanced content formats (A+ Content, Brand Stores).
- Experience with product information management (PIM) systems.
- Understanding of DTC eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or similar).
- Basic image editing ability (Figma, Canva, or similar).
- Experience working with clients or across multiple brands.
- Creative first — you care about the quality of the words as much as the rankings they achieve.
- Proactive and curious about the SEO landscape — you follow industry changes and bring ideas to the table without being asked.
- Commercially aware — you understand that great content has to drive results, not just look good.
- Detail-oriented and methodical without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- A strong communicator who can explain SEO decisions clearly to non-specialists.
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently and manage their own time.
- Genuine interest in eCommerce, retail, and digital marketing.
- Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary package with benefits.
- Work-Life Balance: Competitive annual leave and flexible working arrangements.
- Growth Opportunities: Access to learning and development programs to enhance your skills.
- Culture and Environment: A fun, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.
- Wellbeing Support: Access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
- Quarterly Social Events: Company-sponsored quarterly social events designed to bring teams together, celebrate success, and strengthen connections across the business.
We are committed to equal opportunities and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
