Assistant Manager – Luxury Outdoor Living

Luxury Outdoor Living is expanding, and we are seeking a confident, well-presented Assistant Manager to join our thriving outdoor furniture business. This is an excellent opportunity to become an important part of a small, friendly team, with clear potential for the role to grow as the company continues to develop.

About Us

Luxury Outdoor Living is a successful online retailer with a beautifully presented showroom in Kiddington. Over the past six years we have built a reputation for exceptional outdoor furniture and first-class service.

We are also launching an exciting new venture, Luxury Indoor Living, and the successful candidate will play a key part in bringing this brand to life.

What We\'re Looking For

The successful applicant will be:

• Well presented, confident, and a strong communicator
• Positive in outlook, with a clear \'can-do\' attitude
• Proactive, well organised, and comfortable managing varied day-to-day responsibilities
• Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service
• Accurate and detail-driven, with solid IT and sales skills
• Interested in learning new skills, including website updates and online retail tools
• A holder of a valid full driving licence

Experience with website management or graphic design is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Manager, you will support all aspects of the business, including:

• Customer-facing sales and handling showroom enquiries
• Managing customer communication by phone and email
• Website updates and supporting SEO activity
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers
• Stock control, logistics, and order processing
• Supporting deliveries and fulfilment
• General administration
• Day-to-day duties essential to running a retail business
• Assisting with the development and launch of Luxury Indoor Living

This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys being involved across the whole business.

Additional Information

• Based in Kiddington, with a few visits per month to our Kingham warehouse (travel expenses covered)
• Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
• Occasional weekend showroom cover may be required; time off in lieu will be provided
• Salary: £24,500 per annum
