We’re building a small night cleaning team at Milk Wood House, and we’re hiring more than one person. The building is cleaned every night of the week, so we need people across all seven nights—whether that’s a full week for you, or two or three nights that fit around everything else.

You’ll take care of Milk Wood House once the doors close for the evening, working through the restaurant, kitchen and spa while the resort sleeps, so the team walks into a spotless building every morning and our guests never see the work behind it.

The spa is the part that matters most. Wet areas need doing properly, and they need doing every night — it’s the first thing a guest notices, and the first thing they mention if it’s been rushed.

It’s an independent role that suits someone who likes to get their head down, work at their own pace, and take pride in a job finished properly.

What you’ll be doing

• In the spa: Clean and sanitise wet areas — showers, changing rooms, lockers, sauna, steam room, poolside, hydrotherapy area.
• Treatment rooms reset and ready for the morning’s bookings.
• Descaling, glass and mirror work, and staying on top of damp and limescale.
• Relaxation areas tidied, laundry and used towels cleared to the laundry.
• Restocking towels, robes, and consumables.

• In the restaurant and kitchen: Deep cleaning kitchen, restaurant and bar areas to food-safety standards.
• Floor care — mopping, machine cleaning and periodic deep cleans.

• Across the building: Guest toilets, corridors, entrances and central facilities.
• Refuse removal and keeping bin stores tidy.
• Flagging anything that needs maintenance before guests find it.
• Locking up and leaving the building secure and ready for the morning team.

What we’re looking for

• Reliable above all — a seven-night rota only works if everyone turns up.
• Able to work some weekend nights — Friday and Saturday are our busiest, and we share them out fairly.
• Happy working alone and managing your own shift.
• Thorough and detail-focused; you notice the things others walk past.
• Comfortable with cleaning chemicals and equipment (full training given, including spa and wet-area products).
• Discreet and trustworthy — you’ll be alone in the building with keys and guest areas.
• Own transport is helpful given the hours and location.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is welcome, but not essential — spa or leisure-centre experience is a real plus.
